4 A QIK 1 // CHALLENGER

Pure is one of the many great words I think of when I gaze dreamily at this beautiful beast. This ’74 Dodge Challenger started life in the hot dry weather of the USA. From project to finish, this Challenger was nothing short of a challenge itself. Chris the owner, pulled off an amazing job taking just over a year and a half to finish her off. The Challenger won People’s Choice award at the All American car day in Tauranga 2013.

The engine in this bad boy was built by one of Australasias top jet boat racing/drag engine builders. It features a board out and blue printer 440 Magnum V8 7.2L, with roller rockers, 295″ high end street/drag cam, forger pistons, forged con rods, single plane inlet manifold, and a 850 double pumper holley carby. Putting out over 500hp+ with a 3500RPM high stall (est) and a whole lot of torque with twin 3 1/2″ exhaust it sure goes as good as it looks.
